Chimehub.com integration – to enable chat links on external web sites via the Chime Hub cloud based proxy
No need to use IIS – Chime 2.0 will self-host the HTTP stack
Support for ‘standard replies’ and a configurable agent context window (via the Lync® context window extension)
Known Issues:
Office 365 Queues Only:
Presence values advertised by queue endpoints when viewed in a Lync® contact list may not always match the queue’s online/offline state.
Agent Lync® client extension window is not launched automatically, it must be supplied via text resource and launched in an external web browser.
Dashboard loading may be slow
Web Client Only:
File upload doesn't work in Internet Explorer
File upload doesn't work in Chime Hub
Styling is broken in <IE8
Active Directory search for Office 365 may not work
Stopping and then immediately restarting a Lync® Online queue is a bit fragile.
This might place the queue into a strange state and restarting the queue might be difficult without a service restart
The agent experience using a mobile device (i.e. iPad) is not working correctly when the agent accepts a session request from the Chime server.
The agent can accept and send text, but is not receiving content from the other party.
